All public classes are free and taught in a sit-down, inclusive, classroom setting. There is no gun fire, loaded weapons, or live ammunition. Classes are designed to be taken by all skill levels.
Firearm Familiarization and Range Safety ($120 value) [3 to 3.5 hours]

This class is designed to help people new to firearms form a baseline in safety and marksmanship, starting in a classroom setting with no live fire then a range trip portion if requested. It’s especially suited for novices who may already have purchased a firearm but aren’t sure on next steps. Your instructor will have several options for you to try. This class is an overview of several types of firearms, including rifle, pistol, and shotgun. In addition to firearm familiarization, other topics include maintenance and safe storage, as well as an overview of federal and state gun laws.
Wisconsin Concealed Carry ($90 value) [2.5 hours]

This class covers all the content necessary to apply for your Wisconsin Concealed Carry License. It will touch on how to be responsible, safely store a firearm, Wisconsin concealed carry laws, and practice conflict avoidance. Completion of this class results in a certificate issued to the student. The class also offers additional content with each class that goes beyond the minimum Wisconsin DOJ requirements.
